Trypillian Designs with Susan Jones

This class will break down a basic Trypillian design into steps that are easy to follow and to apply to other Trypillian designs. Students will leave with a finished or almost-finished egg.

Included: red/blue pencil, full-color (probably 8-page) handout, & plastic template for circles to 37mm

What to bring: one eggshell divided into Basic 8 division, kistka, wax, lamp

Skill Level: Any skill level

Maximum: 15 students

Cost: $25 CAD per student. Please pay either $25.00 CAD or $18.50 USD in cash for this workshop at the registration table Thursday morning.

About Susan:

I have been writing pysanky for over fifty years and have explored just about every style and tradition. The pandemic gave me the opportunity to put my knowledge into book form, and I have self-published five books (as of December 2022, but another may be finished by PT2023). I continue learning the art and trying new designs. I began teaching at PysankyUSA retreat 2019, and have taught at Rochester Egg-Sperience 2020 and 2021, Catskill Pysanka Workshop 2022, and Pysanky on the River (POTR) 2022.
