Stained Glass Style Batik Eggs

Come learn how to make batik style eggs that appear as if they are real stained glass orbs. In this demo you will learn the process from start to finish including:

• How to plan your design using basic stainedglassdesign principles

• How to wax your base lines and etch themtoachieve a realistic raised “lead”line

• How to fill in your colors and shade toachieve vibrancy and transparency whereneeded

• Andlastly,learn hands on how to epoxy your finished egg to achieve an antique glassfinish

Please note this is a two part demo Part A will consist of 30 min of instruction and live demo including hand outs, Q&A, and help getting started. Completion of egg will continue on your own time with Part B of the demo consisting of the epoxy process and how to achieve the “mottled” glass finish on your completed stained glass egg with hands on help.
