Edible Dye Markers

Edible Food Dye Markers (Medium Tip) — Set of 10

Looking for a fun, low-mess way to decorate Easter eggs with kids (or your inner kid)? These food-grade edible ink markers are made for decorating boiled eggs and the medium tip is perfect for colouring in bigger spaces.

They’re also a sweet way to introduce little hands to pysanky-style eggs: an adult can wax in the design lines first, then kids can colour in the open areas with the markers. If you want to take it one step further, you can do a final wax and dip the egg into a darker dye bath to finish the design with that classic pysanky depth.

Why you’ll love them
  • Medium tip markers (best for colouring in, not fine outlining)
  • Edible, food-grade dye — safe for decorating boiled eggs
  • Great for kids, classrooms, and family egg-decorating days
  • Handy for bold colour blocks, names, and simple patterns
  • Bonus: can also be used on cookies, biscuits, and cakes

Colours included (10): Black, Pink, Red, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Green, Light Green, Purple, Chocolate

Shelf life: 24 months

Tips for best results
  • Start with clean, dry, room-temperature boiled eggs (condensation can make ink skip).
  • If eggs are chilled, let them sit out a bit, wash and wipe dry before colouring.
  • For smoother colouring, work in light layers and let colour dry for a moment before adding more.
  • If you’re pairing with wax: wax your lines first, then colour in the open spaces.
  • Want a “classic pysanky finish”? Add a final wax layer and dip into a darker dye bath.
  • or add all the different colours on the eggshell, use a kistka to wax some fun lines, dip in a final darker colour and then unwax.

Adult supervision recommended for young children.
