#13. UE Colour Lab & Colour Theory - Kathy Verrelli - Wednesday July 22th - 1:00pm-3:00pm

UE Colour Lab & Colour Theory (Mixing, Palettes & Colour Confidence)

Workshop Summary:

Ready to play in the colour sandbox? In this hands-on 2-hour UE Colour Lab, we’ll explore what makes UE dyes so fun to work with—especially when you start mixing. We’ll experiment with mixes and combinations, create pastels, and test colour pairings to see how small changes can create totally different results.

We’ll also cover a few simple colour “rules” that make choosing palettes easier (without turning it into a lecture).

You’ll leave with new “recipe samples” to try (example: Viking Violet + Yukon Gold = bronze, Magenta + Yukon Gold = rich red) and a personal reference you can use long after the retreat. And if all goes well… I may have one or two surprises to introduce in class.

This workshop is beginner-friendly, but ALL levels of skill are welcome.

What is Provided:

    • a small paint tray & pipettes for your experiments
