Discover a unique pysanky technique with internationally acclaimed artist Tetiana Konoval in this hands-on workshop focused on creating “Volume Flowers and Berries.” This class features Tetiana’s signature step-by-step method using vinegar digestion on dark brown eggs, resulting in striking, dimensional designs.
You’ll learn how to work with ambiguous branches adorned with flowers and berries, using the natural color of the egg and careful etching to achieve beautiful depth and contrast. Tetiana will guide you through each stage of the process, from preparing your dark brown egg to applying the vinegar technique for delicate, layered effects.
This workshop is perfect for those looking to expand their pysanky repertoire with new materials and creative methods. No prior experience with vinegar digestion is necessary—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to experiment!
Each participant will have the opportunity to try her designs under Tetiana’s expert guidance. The session will feature video slides, interactive games, and additional materials to enrich your learning. As a special thank you, every attendee will receive an exclusive electronic gift from Tetiana at the end of the workshop.
What to Bring:
- 1-2 brown chicken eggs (required for this technique)
- Your favourite kistka Medium or a MediumX is a good size.

About Tetiana Konoval:
Tetiana Konoval is a renowned pysankarka originally from Luhansk Oblast, Ukraine. Since 2014, she has lived and worked in Kyiv, teaching pysanky to students and sharing her artistry with the world. Despite losing her home to occupation, Tetiana continues to inspire through her creativity and resilience.
She is the creator behind the popular YouTube channel “TetianaKonovalPysankyUA,” with over 8,000 subscribers, 2,000+ videos, and 1.5 million views, and is active across all major social media platforms.
Tetiana has published interactive e-books and three physical books available on Amazon, and her original pysanky can be found on Etsy under “pysankarstvo.”
