Zoya Stashuk - "Symbolic Pysanka Motifs" - Red Series

The album "Red Series" from Zoya's "Signature Colours" consists of 10 separate 5" x 7" coloured sheets containing a wide variety of Pysanky - Easter eggs in a variety of dye colours. 

STATUS OF THE VICTORY Master of Pysankyry, member of the National Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine, Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine. She has received many state awards for her fruitful work in the field of culture and education. The creative work of the master has more than six thousand Easter eggs. Collections of Easter eggs Stashuk 3. V. are stored in the holdings of most of the National Museums of Ukraine, in foreign state and private museums, and are systematically exhibited at personal exhibitions. Stashuk 3. V. through 17 copyright publications "School of Pysankary" and "Pysankarstvo", printed articles in mass media, masterclasses, methodical associations of pysankary for teachers of out-of-school and school institutions, theoretical and practical seminars on pysankary provided the opportunity for thousands of people to join the sacred world of Ukrainian Easter eggs.

The purpose of this publication is the author's attempt to give all those who wish to enter the sacred world of the Ukrainian Easter egg through understanding the mythological basis of symbolic signs, contemplating ancient ornamentations on numerous samples of pysanky included in the album, and the ability to unsubmit their favorite pysankas by their own drawings.

Метою цього видання є спроба автора надати можливість усім охочим увійти до сакрального світу української писанки через осмислення міфологічного підгрунтя символічних знаків, споглядання стародавніх орнаментів на представлених численних зразках писанок, що увійшли до альбому, та можливість самотужки відписати вподобані писанки за наданими схемами креслень. У альбомі представлено 360 писанок із зображенням.
