Kistka Pen Tip Replacements – Pysanky Writing Tips

Ukrainian EggCessories Kistka pen tips do not wear down with normal use because the actual writing tip is made of stainless steel- this is one of the reasons we don’t have an interchangeable kistka tip.

However over time other kistka tips that are made of 100% brass will wear down over time. This collection brings together our universal kistka pen tip replacements and brass kistka tips so you can upgrade your older electric kistky model by using our tips without replacing the entire tool.

Here you’ll find replacement kistka tips in sizes from XXXFine to Heavy, as well as our “Magnificent Eight” universal pen tips set for electric kistky.

Choosing the right kistka tip size

#0–#2 (XXXFine, XXFine, XFine) – for very fine lines and detailed pysanky work
#3–#5 (Fine to MediumX) – for everyday writing on chicken eggs
#6–#7 (MediumXX to Heavy) – for bold lines, filling areas, and larger eggs (goose, ostrich)

Please note:

The only tips that fit the WaxArt electric substrate are the Medium and MediumXX chrome‑plated brass tips with the stainless steel needle (the silver tips).
These tips may not sit 100% fully seated in other substrates, but they are still usable.
All brass tips with the stainless steel tip will fit Luba’s electrics from Ukrainian Gift Shop (the electrics with the cork handle).
