Just what you need to keep your egg in place! Pysanky Pillows!

When designing and waxing your pysanky, it's always nice to keep the egg in one spot. This Pysanky Pillow will not only keep your egg steady but will also let you move the egg around as necessary when creating your design. Lots of Pysanky enthusiasts make their own pillows but if you don't want to, you can pick up your very own here.

  • Made from 100% Cotton and filled with plastic pellets.
  • Easy to wash - just throw right into the washing machine with cold water
  • 5.5 inches square and will fit most egg sizes
  • The centre has a little dimple to keep eggs safely in the middle while you work on them.

These Pysanky Pillows are made for us by Marg O'Bradovic from "My Creative Place". You can find her facebook page here: Marg O'Bradovic - My Creative Place.

Marg's Bio:
In 2015 Marg's husband answered an ad on kijiji for someone looking for infertile goose eggs. When asked why, the man said he did Pysanky eggs. She traded eggs for lessons!
The following year, Marg read a story in a farmer newspaper about an egg artist living outside Windsor, ON. Marg and her husband met up with the lady who has become a mentor in so many ways. Marg made the 2 hr trip every couple of weeks for over a year to learn different techniques about carving and decorating. They still get together and remain friends.
Marg's husband encourages her endeavors. He's got geese, ducks, copper marans, & emus.
Marg has been making quilts for about 10 years. In January 2018, Marg opened up a studio/workshop in the quiet little town of Brigden, ON. My Creative Place is where she now has her quilts on display for sale and gives quilting classes. Marg also gives some basic Pysanky classes. There's also plenty of room for a work area and display eggs for sale. Compressor and carving area in the back room. Most days thats where you'll find Marg. Such a dilemma.. whether to be an Egger or a quilter each day!
